Ceeblue Customer Data Processing Statement

At Ceeblue we strive to process the least amount of customer data as possible. Any information processed is absolutely necessary in order for us to provide the specific service or services requested by our customers.

All data collected by Ceeblue is entirely anonymous. We do not associate specific users to any data that we process.

Ceeblue collaborates with a select number of trusted external providers for certain service offerings. These service providers are carefully selected and meet high data protection, data privacy and security standards.

The data shared with these providers is required for the services offered and we contractually bind our partners to keeping any shared information confidential and to processing personal data only according to our instructions.

What data we process and where we process it

  • The customer data that Ceeblue processes includes, but is not limited to: 
    • IP Addresses
    • Geodata
    • S3 storage access keys
    • Browser user-agent
  • Our customers’ videos are stored on the node only during runtime before upload. If an upload fails, the video will remain on the node until the customer requests it or until the node is reset for maintenance.
  • Ceeblue reserves the right to store its customers’ support correspondence, sent via support ticket platforms, instant messaging, email or other means, for quality assurance and records maintenance purposes. This data is not used for marketing or any other purpose.
  • Ceeblue’s infrastructure footprint is worldwide. However, Ceeblue’s customers have the option of limiting the geographies in which their data is processed, provided Ceeblue maintains infrastructure in the requested areas.

Data Retention

Due to the nature of our service, our system does not make it a policy to retain any customer data for longer than six months.

We will, however, exceptionally retain data longer than this if legally obliged to by law enforcement or by a court of law with due jurisdiction or in order to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements, as per our legal rights and obligations.

Modifications, Communications and Questions

We may update this policy as needed to comply with changes in relevant regulations and in order to reflect any new practices. Whenever we make a significant change to our policies, we will announce it on our company blog or social media profiles.

We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of stored “personal data” (as defined in applicable law) to our customers via email in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, insofar as is consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.

Ceeblue may sell, divest, transfer, assign, share or otherwise engage in a transaction that involves some or all of our assets, including any or all of the information described in this Statement. In case of a corporate divestiture, merger, acquisition, joint venture, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or any other similar transaction or proceeding, our customers’ personal data may be transferred. We will provide notice before our customers’ personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
